HAUL BOOTS AND LIFESTYLE

I snooped around the mall today to grabbed some stuff that I needed and saw some other interesting items on the boots and Body shop.

I first went to the Body Shop to get another Body butter because I'm using the body butter like crazy since cooler months means drier skin so moisturizing is a must on winter. Surprisingly I saw that my favorite Japanese Blossoms has returned and I'm literally so..so happy, and I can't explain how happy I am to see it back on the Body shop.I purchased 2 just to make sure and will be returning back soon to buy more. I also noticed that they changed the packaging to white and pink because before it was pink and black I'm 100% sure that you will be seeing this on my monthly favorites.

I also purchased a good moisturizing Hand Cream from Body Shop and it's called Almond Hand & Nail Cream. This smell so good and so pleasant I'm actually not a big fan of hand cream but during winter it's a must for me to have a hand cream in my purse all the time. I was just hoping that they have a smaller tube for this hand cream so it wont be as heavy as this one and it will be easier to fit in your smaller purse.

Then I need to buy my favorite Victoria secret scent the Amber Rush. I love it specially when I'm at home or just feeling lazy and need a warmth smell on my body. This scent never runs out on my collection it's a staple scent for me if I saw that I'm running low on it I make sure that I will buy another before I emptied it.

Then I went to Boots to buy a Dry Shampoo and right now I'm loving the Batiste Dry Shampoo for dark and deep brown hair to keep my hair smells lovely and remove some greasiness on the scalp specially at the end of the day. Though I find that this stain my white pillows so maybe after the 2 bottles that I bought I will be switching to the regular ones.

Then I went to the Barry M section to see if they have the Gelly nail paint and they have it finally!!! So I took the chance of grabbing Blueberry which is a pastle blue but more on the brighter ones and a Pomegranate which is a pinkish red and very nice for this season and I might grab some more colors because this is seriously nice and thick and last a week without chipping considering that my most nail polishes doesn't last on my nails that long.

And since I'm in the cosmetic section I grabbed the opportunity to see the new lashes from Buorjois and ended up getting a dramatic one than the natural one because I found a Kiss Natural lashes more attractive than the Buorjois Natural so I also buy one.

After Boots my last stop was the Lifestyle to check the NYX lipglosses because I'm a huge fan and I had been waiting for the Beige to arrive that's why I keep on checking the NYX when I got a chance. And to my surprise it was available and without a doubt I get one and 2 more lipglosses which is a Tea Rose and Nude Pink.

This last purchase was something that I had been wanting to buy but end up skipping it, It's the Revlon Kissable Lip Balm in Honey maybe the reason why I kept my hands off this product is because of the smell. It's like a leafy mint and I'm not a fan of that smell but the color was lovely and so wearable for everyday but because of the color pay off I just took the risk of finally buying it.

That's it guys! Have a wonderful day keep warm and happy!

CHANEL VITALUMIERE AQUA FOUNDATION

I bought this foundation 5 weeks ago and I had been using them quiet a lot and I decided to review it and give my thoughts about this foundation.
Since it's getting cooler I need a foundation that's a bit lighter because my skin tends to be drier to normal on cooler months than on summer. I had been a MAC foundation fan for so long so I decided to try some other brands and decided to go for Chanel.

So I went to Sephora to check the Chanel and ask the lady on the counter of what foundation is best for me and she gave me the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation which is very lightweight and good as everyday foundation. When it comes to foundation I tend to go for a lightweight and not too thick and heavy like my MAC Studio Fix Foundation. The lady matched me on the shade B30 which I think is my perfect match at first I though it was B40 but it was a bit dark for me.

Packaging:
The packaging is very sleek and great for traveling. It's made of plastic so it won't explode on your luggage very practical I should say. The box packaging is very Chanel, like a classic Chanel design which is black with white writings and gold accent.

Formula & Application:
It's a water based formula so it's very liquidy and you need to shake it really well before using it because it separates. It's advised to best apply it with your fingers than any other brushes and avoid using sponge or else it will just absorb the foundation. I can say that the coverage is sheer to medium. It claims to look very natural like a second skin, which in my opinion it does actually gives a second layer of perfect radiant skin. It looks very velvety not dewy and not matte just a fresh skin look. But if you have a flaky dry skin it will emphasize it. If you have oily skin you need to wear a primer. I wear a primer only on my T zone area just to make it last longer. You will also be needing a concealer to conceal some spots that is still peeking through. You will also notice a fragrant scent to it, it doesn't bother me at all because it's very pleasant but if you're very sensitive with smell on your foundation you need to take it  into consideration because it's quite a strong scent. It also has an SPF 15 so good for everyday and a little white cast in flash photography.

Overall, I like this foundation, the formula and result is awesome. The downside for this foundation is that you need to moisturize well if you have some flaky spots especially around the nose and on your chin. I'm not sure if you can say that the price is also a downside of this product though it's expected because it's Chanel. It cost AED 215 for 30ml of foundation. If you're looking for a natural everyday foundation with SPF this is for you but if you're looking for a natural foundation but without SPF you should try the MAC Face and Body foundation.

URBAN DECAY NAKED 3 PALETTE

Finally I had my Naked 3 Palette!

At last Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette is available now  in Sephora Dubai and Abu Dhabi. And if you're like me and been a fan of the Urban Decay's Naked line then you know how it feels when this palette was released. Honestly, I wasn't expecting that the Naked 3 will be available here in the UAE that fast usually it took months but I think they know that the Naked 3 will be a big hit after being sold out so fast online and in stores.

The Naked 1 was on the bronzey hues more on the warmer colors the Naked 2 was Taupey hues which was on the cooler colors and the Naked 3 was on the Pink rosey hues which I think will suit warm or cool tones.

Looking at it on the Urban Decay's website I really wanted it so bad because who doesn't love pink and rose colors it suits everyone. Plus the packaging design is incredible like a rosey gold tin like the Naked 2 it also comes with a double ended brush and a sampler of the very famous Primer Potion.

Naked 3 still comes with 12  new rich creamy eye shadows a mixture of matte, satin and shimmer like the previous two palettes from lighter to darker shades.

First shade it the Strange which is described as a Pale Neutral Pink Matte-Satin - This is great for highlighting as always the first shades are.
Dust is the second shade and it's a Pale Metallic Pink Shimmer with iridescent micro-glitter, this one I find it a bit hard to work with but great as an accent like put it on top of your eye make up to give it a nice sparkle and I think it will be better to apply it wet that's what I did the first time I used it.
Burnout is a light pinky-peach satin this is really really nice love it on the inner half of my lid to brighten that area.
Limit is a light dusky rose matte good for transition color.
Buzz a metallic rose shimmer with silver micro glitter one of the medium color and great for all over the lids color.
Trick is a light metallic pinky-copper shimmer with tonal micro-sparkle this has a gold tone that reminds me of the naked 1 & 2 Half baked but this is more like the Naked 3 version with a coppery tone.

Nooner is a medium pinky-brown matte a great blending color.
Liar is a medium metallic mauve shimmer and I'm loving this so much one of my favorite on this palette. Factory is a pinky brown satin also a perfect lid color and another one of my favorite.
Mugshot is another one of my favorite and it's a metallic taupe shimmer with light pink shift perfect even alone.
Darkside is a deep taupe-mauve satin that's good for definition and the last color was the
Blackheart this one is crazy color black and red just crazy like great and unexpected its described as smoky black matte with rosy red micro-sparkle.

(Nooner , Liar , Factory , Mugshot, Darkside, Blackheart
Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit, Buzz, Trick)

All I can say is that this is a must have. Ranking the 3 Naked Palette this will win the 2nd spot. First of course will be the Naked 1 and last will be the Naked 2 since it suits more cooler undertones. I can't wait to play with this more and this will stay in my makeup bag for months. Right now I don't want to choose what's my top favorite because I can't choose which is which but my least favorite I think is the Dust but I still can work with it like applying it wet.

This is sold in Sephora Dubai and Abu Dhabi for AED 279. So if you are interested in the Naked Palette 3 get it before it's gone because for sure it will sell out fast.

MAC HAUL

I went back to MAC to repurchase some items and check the RiRi Hearts Fall Collection which is by Rihanna. The first RiRi hearts collection was exclusively sold online so I didn't got a chance to buy that. And finally MAC released another collection for fall which is sold on the stores and internationally. Last Friday I when I received the message from MAC that it was out. I got so excited and wanted to go back to Abu Dhabi because we're on a trip that weekend so I waited till the next day and went straight to MAC. Unfortunately.... there's only few items left which I'm not interested in buying it was the mascara, lipliner, the lipgloss and the 2 lipstick which is the Who's that chick and the Riri Woo. As per MAC it was sold out within 2 hrs after they released it, which was expected since a lot of people was waiting for it to come out. The next day I decided to go to the newly opened MAC in World Trade Center Mall hoping that some of the items are still there...luckily some are still there except for the Talk that talk which is a  deep plum lipstick and the one that I'm really interested in buying which is the Hibiscus..too bad! However, I got the chance to check the other items on this collection which for me was well suited for darker skin tones. The nude lipstick was not for me because it was too brown, the Who's that chick is not my color even though I love orange tones because it suits medium skin tones but the gold tones was no no for me. The Riri woo is something I can't still decide because I wore red occasionally and Ruby woo is absolutely same as Riri woo though the Riri woo was a bit brighter however, for me it was the same maybe I'll try buying one on the RiRi Heart Holiday collection since I like the packaging of that collection more :) which is a white with rose gold! I'm also interested in the Creme color base but I break out on their Creme color base most of the time. So I skipped even though I really wanted to buy it. So I ended up buying the blusher which is absolutely perfect for fall you can skip using bronzer with this blush it's called Bad Girl Gone Good which is described as a warm copper with a satin finish.

And because I really wanted the Hibiscus I looked around and buy a blush that almost like the Hibiscus which for me was the Pinch o peach. They said that the Nars Amour was also a dupe for that so maybe if I visit Nars I'll check that.

Then I went and buy some more items that I needed like the MAC lipsticks in Pattiserie, Shanghai Spice, Creme Cup and Peach Blossoms.

NOVEMBER FAVORITES

It's time for the monthly favorites. I'm loving the weather right now here in the UAE, chilly in the morning and in the evening.. feels like Christmas is so..sooo...near! but before I get more excited with the Christmas let me just show you guys what I had been loving this past November.

Beauty Favorites

1. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation - I bought this foundation in Sephora a month ago and I had been using it everyday since then because I love how it gives my skin a glow specially when my skin looks so very very very tired. It's a very natural looking foundation almost like a perfect second skin. However this foundation is a bit sheer so you need to cover some spots with concealers if you have some to cover up.

2. MAC Lipstick in Creme cup - I have avoided and ignored this lipstick for so long because it was a bit brighter and lighter for my skin tone so I know it won't suit me. So when I went to MAC and give this lipstick a try surprisingly it complements my skin tone and even gives my look a hint of glow. So I'm using this lipstick everyday and I feel like sometimes it's easier to wear a lipstick on cooler months that gives your skin a icy cool look but some days when I want to be daring I a opt for darker lips.

3. MAC Mineralized Skin Finish - Since I had been using the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation I changed to my MAC Mineralized Skin Finish that's a hair darker than my skin so my skin will still look warmer instead of being pale. And I almost forget how much I love this product since I switched to MAC Careblend. But this Mineralized Skin Finish and the Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua together is awesome.Gives you a very natural healthy skin.

4. Bareminerals Eye shadow Quad in The Truth - I remember last year at this time of the year I also been using this a lot. It's more of like a wintery make up because it's darker like how I wear my eye makeup during cooler months. This make up is one of my go to eye shadow palette because the shades are very neutral and flexible. Sometimes for a quick makeup I just put a  bronze color base and use any brown on this palette all over my lids and along my lash line then few coats of mascara and that's it. If you haven't tried this palette you should because it's worth every penny and the pigmentation and texture is insane.

5. Elf Blush in Berry Merry - Yup I'm going for a more darker shades of pink now because it's nice to wear darker blushes too on the winter to get off the pale look. I often grab Gingerly from MAC or a darker pink but right now this Berry Merry is what I had been reaching a lot. Plus it has a blue undertone that glows on your skin and gives you a cooler look.. that's what I think.

6. Essie Nail polish in Hot Choco - Shades of brown again. I bought this nail polish a long time ago and haven't tried it yet. So when I was picking up a color on my drawer for nail polishes I realized that I haven't used it so I picked it and give it a try and it was like an escape for my Glamour Purse, so lovely. I think I should try Red and Pink soon.

7. Lancome Miracle Perfume - This is one of my seldom used perfume because I like it only on winter because I feel like this scent was a bit heavy specially if you applied too much. So I limit my spray to at least 4-6 sprays or else I'll change my clothes. My technique to avoid over spraying heavy scent perfume, I transfer some on my Travelo so I will be reminded that I need to apply less than the usual.

Non Beauty Favorites

1. Bath and Body Works Candle in Tis the Season - How I had been loving Christmas Scents is insane! I like a scent of spicy and warm on the house. It gives me comfort and reminds me of my family back home. I love this scent seriously it wasn't like those candles that when you burn it, it will take time for you to smell the scent it produce...this one once you lit it you will smell it after few seconds which I think will keep the candle for burning faster.

2. Hunger Games Trilogy - Yes I just finished the books and yes just now because I don't know why the Hunger Games movie, the first one, was not very appealing to me. But when I watched the Catching fire I'm convinced that I have to read the book so I did... and I'm glad I did. I'm now looking forward for the Mocking Jay movie.

3. Star Dance Album by Selena Gomez - I had been listening to this whenever I want to start my day in a cheerful mood because the beat and the music gives you a nice energy that will absolutely make you wanna dance. My husband whenever he sits with me on the car or I will drive him somewhere once I turn on my sound he will say "Selena again??"..that's how much I love her album plus it's very catchy and easy to follow.

So that's what I had been loving this month and I will be posting a review on the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation soon and some haul I did last week.

OCTOBER FAVORITES

Hello everyone!
I'm back for my monthly favorites. As you have notice I skipped last month's favorites basically because I was so busy with the moving and most of my things are still packed on the boxes. So the things I used last August are still the same things I used last month. So without further rumbling here is my October favorites!

1. Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation - This foundation I got from my August Glambox and since then I had been using it everyday and I will buy this once I emptied the sample. The finish is so lovely and very smooth it makes you're skin looks so awake and bright because it has a light diffusing properties. It's just so amazing! I'm impressed from the very first time i tried this and I'm still impressed everytime I applied it.
2. Burts Bee Lipbalm in Mango - I discovered this lipbalm during our
trip in Hong Kong and from then on I haven't used any other lipbalm aside from this one. My father even sent me a pack of the lipbalm that I think will last me for a long time since this brand is not available in UAE. I already emptied my Grapefruit and now this is the one I'm using. Keep's my lips hydrated all the time.

3. Nars Laguna Bronzer - I had been in love with this bronzer before and when I discovered my NYC bonzer I forgot about this. Then when I was arranging all my makeup on my drawer I saw this and started using it again and then I realized why I love this bronzer. It just gives you enough color to your face and just frames your face so well without looking too much. Bronzer was a genius product but bit tricky to use (in my opinion) specially if you haven't tried it before, you might get the wrong shade and will make you look like an oompa so better check with a consultant first before buying one. I think I can skip blush but not bronzer.

4. Maybelline Color tatoo in Tough as Taupe - If you haven't tied color tatoo you have to try it! It's a great product that will change you're eye makeup routine for sure! This products makes you're eye make up stay all day. It comes on a different color that for sure will match what eye make up you want. Right now im into this shade sometimes I use it alone or if I have some more time I put some shadows on top of it.

5. MAC Mineralized Eyeshadow in Earthy - This eyeshadow perfectly matched the Tough as Taupe so this comes along with it. Unfortunately this was broke during the moving so it was so painful because I love this color and I have to use it before everything turns out into a powder now.

6. Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara - This was just a free item I got when I purchased some lipsticks in Rimmel. At first I though this is not good because the formula was a bit dry compared to my usual mascara. However my lashes was so long and was sot clumpy at all when I use it. I was now thinking that a drier formula is better than a wet formula. Hmmm... but this is an item that i will repurchase for sure even if this is just free.

7. Essie nail polish in Glamour purse - This is my all time autumn/winter kind of color. Last year all throughout winter I use this nail polish. I started using it after my birthday, one morning as I let my dog out I started to feel chilly and I said it's time for Glamour purse so that weekend I went to my nail salon and ask them for the Glamour Purse.

8. MAC Lipstick in Blankety - I'm in the mood for some nude lipstick this month and I pull this out from my drawer and just started wearing it again. This was disgustingly melted because I left it in my car while picking up some letters from the post office. Nevertheless it's still a good nude lipstick and one of my all time favorite shade from MAC.

Non Beauty Favorites

1.  Yankee candles in Blissful Autumn  - I had been enjoying this scent a lot specially at night when i'm ready for bed. It's just so relaxing. I'm bad explaining about  scents but this definitely smells like spices. And I love spicy scents during winter time because it smells like Christmas and it brings happiness to my heart.

2. Pink Ablum The truth about Love - I had been playing this over and over again. Whenever I clean the house I listen to this turning the volume up and also while I'm driving. Her music was phenomenal who doesn't like Pink anyways! But this is the best album she released, by far.

3. Grace Helbig - She's a youtuber also known as Daily Grace she's very funny and very entertaining. My husband likes her so much that he call her "bayiiiieeee" which she always say when she's ending her videos. She's very pretty and with a humor like that who will never like her! Check her out, she's uploading videos everyday! prepare to laugh!

4. Dragonvale - My favorite app for this month was this dragon! A friend of mine who will not be named as Rodel was so into this game that I was so intrigued and now I'm addicted. That it can make me stay late and woke up early just to see what egg I got from breeding 2 dragons. Switching to dragonvale and Youtube was nice!

Hope you guys have a lovely day and check Daily Grace so you can laugh with me!

WHAT'S ON MY TRAVEL MAKE UP BAG

Me and my Husband are going for a short trip to our favorite getaway place this weekend, which is at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah to celebrate our 1st Wedding Anniversary. We're not taking a whole week because we're also travelling to Philippines on December so we need to save our remaining leave for that. Whenever we feel like we need a break and we need to be away from the city we always go to Hilton to unwind and relax. This plan was actually for the Eid holiday but since we moved in to a new place it was cancelled and we decided to just move it till our Anniversary. So now we're travelling and I'm so excited because I need a break after a busy month at the house I need time to relax and enjoy the weather.

Whenever we go for a trip I always change everything on my makeup bag because I don't need all of them or I need a different one like foundation I need a lighter foundation or tinted moisturizer and blusher and lipgloss and since we're going to a beach I will be needing a lighter and easy makeup more like a no make up look type. So now I'll share with you some things I will bring with me for this trip.

1. Smash box Primer Light in Travel Sized - to stop the oiliness on my face and for a smoother application of my foundation
2. MAC Face and Body Foundation - Usually my go to for beach is the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer but I think this will look good on pictures specially during our dinner. A very light foundation will look more seamless than the full coverage foundation.

4. Real Technique Powder blush

6. Real technique Multi task Brush
7. Sleek Blusher in Lace - for a plush of  color on my cheeks
8. Sigma F40 angled brush

10. MAC Eyebrow pencil in Spiked
11. Lorac Pro Palette - for choices of neutral colors
12. Urban Decay Shader brush
13. Sigma E40 Blending Brush
14. Sigma E30 Pencil brush
15. Benefit They're real Mascara Travel size
16. Buorjois Smokey Effect Pencil in Smoked Brown
17. Urban decay liquid eyeliner in Perversion
18. Victoria secret eyelash curler
19. Maybelline Fitme concealer

21. MAC lipstick in Shanghai Spice and Cremecup -Nude lip is a must for a natural look
22. MAC Subculture lipliner
23. Nyx lipgloss in Beige
24. Bourjois Colour boost lip crayon in Peach on the Beach
25.. Small brush from Body Shop
26. Burts bees lipbalm in Mango
27. Maybelline Baby lips
28. Pony tails and bobby pins

Along with it I'm traveling with some of  my skincare and hair products

1. Foreo Luna Mini- for deep cleaning
2. Lush shampoo in Rehab
3. Lush soap in Sea Vegetable
4. Jergens Soothing Aloe Relief Lotion - perfect after staying under the sun for a long time

FIRST IMPRESSION: LORAC PRO PALETTE

I had been wanting the Lorac Palette for so long since it was compared to Urban Decay Naked Palette and I love my Naked Palette so.....so much that I can't splurge on something that I may not like and will still make me come back to my Naked Palette, however my youngest sister who's also a makeup junkie keeps on telling me that the Lorac Palette is way better than the Naked. Out of curiosity about her statement I went and order Lorac Palette in my trusty beauty.com since it wasn't available in UAE as a gift for myself for my birthday and perfect colors for fall.

I received the package after 2 weeks and I was so excited to open it and see what wonderful thing I got. The box packaging was okay nothing special. When I opened it I was a bit surprise how sleek the packaging is. I was kind of hoping that it wasn't that too sleek because the box was a bit big for the very sleek palette. It also comes with an Eye Primer.

When I open the palette I knew then why it's being compared to the Naked Palette. For some reason...some of the colors on the Lorac Pro Palette are very similar to the Naked 1. The Slate(Lorac) is very similar to the Gunmetal (Naked). Champagne (Lorac) is a bit similar to Sin (Naked). Taupe (Lorac) to Buck (Naked). The concept of the Lorac Pro Palette is more like the Naked palette.

What I like about this palette is it's very versatile like the Naked Palette. You can create a lot of looks with it, very neutral colors which is very me. Shades vary from lightest to darkest so you can do an simple everyday look to glamour smokey eye or from day to night makeup. The eye shadows are very pigmented and creamy. It's very sleek packaging has an advantage because you can put it on your purse, excellent for travelling and it will not take a lot of space on your kit plus it's very light too. Also not like the Naked this palette comes with more matte eye shadows which exceptional because most of the  palettes on the market are shimmery or some just have few matte eye shadows included. Lorac has 8 matte and 8 shimmery eye shadow. So if you're not into shimmery eye shadows and you want to try a palette like the Naked you can try the Lorac Pro. Personally I don't like shimmer especially on my crease area because I have a fatty eye lids so if I put shimmery eye shadow on that area it will emphasize the lids more so I opt to darker matte than darker shimmer.

If you're like me and been wanting the Lorac pro Palette for a long time but you keep on holding back maybe because of the price or for some reason... all I can say is... you need to try it. Now I had been using it everyday mixing colors and I wanting to try the Unzipped one too.

Have you tried the Unzipped? what's your thoughts?

AUGUST GLAMBOX

I had recently subscribed to Glambox.Me. If it's your first time hearing about Glambox, basically subscribing to Glambox you will be receiving boxes every month according to your subscription plan. The boxes includes sample products from various lines for you to try. The concept of Glambox was absolutely nice because you can try products without buying the regular size which you might end up either liking it or not liking it and will be just a waste of money. I was a bit hesitant in subscribing to Glambox because not brave enough and I'm scared in receiving products that I don't personally like but when I saw that the August box will have all products from Benefit I said okay I'm sold so I subscribed. I love Benefit's products and was so interested in trying few more products from them. Although I have the mascara and the primer which is included in the box it doesn't stop me from subscribing.

I'm very very excited in receiving the box. I received it last August 28 and when I got home from work I opened the box and explore the products right away. I feel like a kid who received a gift from Santa on Christmas day.

August Box includes
The Porefessional which is a primer that minimized the appearance of large pores and fine lines. It's Oil free and contains Vitamin E. I already tried and tested this one and I use it whenever I feel like I need to cover some of my pores specially if you have oily skin your pores are just there and will never leave you unless you use products that minimizes your pores.

Chachatint which is a mango tinted cheek and lip stain. I love the color of this tint. I was eyeing this product for so long but I feel that stain products for your cheeks are really  hard to work with. sometimes it leaves streaks of brushes on your cheeks do if you're not used to using this you might do it wrong. I suggest you put it on your finger tips and blend it on your cheeks slowly building up the colors. Never use it directly on your cheeks or it will leave a brush streak and it will be very painful when that happens.

Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow it's a Oil free brightening liquid foundation with SPF 25. I'm really surprised to like this foundation. I'm very picky when it comes to foundation and I never tried Benefit's foundation before. This really brightens your skin without any shimmer at all. This is the product that I will seriously repurchased after finishing the sample. The shade was perfect for me and really matches my neck perfectly you will never notice that I'm wearing a foundation at all. I felt like this will be my HG foundation as long as this will exist in the world.

They're real Mascara claims to be a long-wearing mascara. When this was released it was massively talked about in beauty world. I bought this one and I can say that this is a very nice mascara as long as you're not irritated with the plastic brush. I prefer the regular brush than the plastics because it hurts my eye specially when you put the brush close to your lids when applying the mascara, it really bothers me. But the formula of this mascara is great. It won't smudge and will stay for a long time and really lengthens and add volume to your lashes.

B. Right Total Mouisture is a facial cream that claims to provide long-term hydration. This product is a no go for me because I have combination to oily skin but this time it's more on the oilier side than being on the combination. Also I don't like the scent it's too strong for me. This might work more for people who have dry skin.

That's it guys! If you're subscribed to Glambox like me... what's your favorite item?
I'm now looking forward for the September box. I can't wait :)

MY EVERYDAY MAKE UP FOR WORK

Hi Everyone!

This will be my first "face of the day" post on my blog. Me and my husband are going out to watch a movie and have dinner with our friends afterwards. Since I had been wearing this makeup almost everyday I thought I better put it on my blog and take advantage of the natural light. This was taken inside my husband's car while he's driving and starting to get annoyed of me blocking his side mirror. I'm using my  phone to take the pictures.

This is pretty simple and very basic. I opted for more natural look most of the time because I don't feel the need of putting layers of make up in a very humid day. So minimal product was used and the list are below:

Face
Bare Minerals Matte Foundation in Light
MAC Moisture Cover Concealer in NW25

COLLECTIVE HAUL (PARIS GALLERY, SEPHORA, AREEJ & ILLAMASQUA)

Hi Everyone!

I got another haul for you guys :)

I had been hold for buying beauty products for a year and this is what happens. Some of  the things I bough was really needed and some are...something new to try on.

We went to Dubai Mall during the Eid Holiday. Dubai mall is where we go whenever I need to find something not sold in Abu Dhabi because most of the brands can be found there it's a very very big mall. And because I haven't been there and also I was supposed to meet with my sister that time but she was at the airport from 1am till 5am waiting if she will be pulled out for a flight and because we we're avoiding crowd we went there around 10am when everyone I guess is still sleeping so as my sister. My husband also need to buy some work out clothes and shoes so even meeting up my sister was cancelled we still decided to continue the plan.

First stop I discovered an Illamasqua store in Dubai Mall, It's new... I think because I'd never seen them before. It's a UK cosmetic brand and their skin base foundation was so popular but unfortunately I didn't try that one because I still have 1 more foundation to try and I bought a new foundation also to try, which I will show or tell you in a bit. There's not much products to try like most of their lipsticks are like 3 same shades on the tray so your just picking up the same shade you like repeatedly. And it's quite expensive than MAC so I decided to try their blush and of course I can't go out there without buying a lipstick.

I choose a blush called Nymph and it was like a soft pink with a bluish tone on it. Perfect girly blush. Then I grab a safe nude lipstick called Test. Both of them are highly highly pigmented. As of now I love both of them and I kept on using the Nymph blush ever since I bought it. And I also used the lipstick on my shoot which will also be posted soon.

Then I went to Sephora. Every time I go to Dubai Mall I make it a point to stop by Sephora and snoop for some new things to try plus I really needed to buy another Urban Decay Naked Palette. I gave my old one to my younger sister because she was asking me to buy her an eyeshadow palette when my husband and I were in Hong Kong for our honey moon and because I can't find anything nicer than the Naked Palette I just decided to gave it to her and will just buy a new one when I came back here in UAE. So I bought that and then I also wanted to try the Urban Decay Oil control make up setting spray called De Slick because my face turned to be very greasy now because of the weather here in UAE and I swear it's disgusting. So I wanted to try that if it works better than the All Nighter one and it actually does I'd been also using it everyday.

Then I pass by the Bareminerals section and I love their eye shadows so much most specially the quad called "The Truth". So i decided to try the Bareminerals matte foundation because it will suit my needs now specially it's summer so a mineral loose powder might work for me I bought a shade Light because It has a yellow undertone and I'm more on yellow than beige and pink I'm so excited to do a full review on this because it's a very good foundation I can say for everyday though I still love my MAC Face and Body foundation also for summer.

Then the last item that I wanted to pick up in Sephora was the Huda Lashes. I used Huda Lashes on my wedding last April and I love it so much that I promised myself to buy another one. I bought a more dramatic one called Gisselle, the one i used on my wedding was Coco Jo. Coco Jo is a more natural looking lashes. It's just quite a bit expensive for my opinion and since I'm not wearing lashes everyday it's fine for me to buy this and keep it for a more important event.

Then I went to Areej to check the Estee Lauder because I wanted to actually try the Blush called Tease but unfortunately It's out of stock so my husband told me to choose another item that I wanted to try and I always love Estee Lauder Lip glosses because it's very pigmented but I can't find a nice color. Then when I look down I saw this duo eye shadows. It's called Pure Color Eyeshadow Duo in Rasins. Which is a very very nice color even my husband likes it I also like the Vanilla Pods but I choose the Raisins more because it's more interesting. I will come back there for sure and buy the Vanilla Pod and a 5 Eyeshadow palette because they're also lovely. Also the wonderful lady who assist me gave me a cute tote bag for free. Yay!

Then the last stop was at Paris Gallery because Clinique emailed me that they will be giving away a Eid Gifts which is a bag full of goodies when ever you prurchased 2 items. Since I needed to repurchased my moisturizer and I wanted to try a new skincare steps I went there and grab a few items. So I had been in the Acne Solution Clear Skin System for years now and since my skin is clear now. I wanted to try the 3 Step Skin care #3 for Combination to Oily Skin Type. Clinique has a trial kit or starter kit for their skin care which consist of toner, facial wash and a moisturizer in small bottle and tubes and I usually purchase a starter kit when I'm trying a new skin care routine, practically because I don't know if it will work for me or not so why spend buying the bigger sizes if you're just on trial. Then I still wanted to keep my Acne Solutions Clearing Moisturizer oil free to at least control some pimples coming out specially when your period is arriving. Another reason is because I love how it feels on my skin. I usually apply this all over my face at night. I also asked the girl at  the counter if I can still use it and she said it's fine as long as it still works on your skin. And as I've said they will be giving out a bag with goodies for their promotion, I got one which consist of High Impact Mascara, 7 day scrub cream, youth surge moisturizer, dual ended lipgloss and lipstick, black eyeliner, take the day off make up remover and pore refining solution correcting serum.

So that's it! That's  my haul from few beauty shops i trusted. Hope you guys enjoyed it. I will be doing full review on some products mentioned on this blog.

Have a great day!

AUGUST FAVORITES

Hi everyone!
August had ended and now it's the start of "Ber Months" and every time ber month starts I feel very excited because it means that Christmas is very very near and before I get really excited for the ber months let wrap the August with my monthly favorites.

For my August Beauty and Skincare Favorites

1. BIODERMA SENSIBIO H20 MICELLE SOLUTION FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
That was quite a long name for a product. Any ways this products cleanses your face and removes makeup even the stubborn waterproof one. It's very gentle on your face and really makes your face feeling smooth after using it. I don't normally use it everyday. I use it mostly on times when I wear full make up on because not everyday I wear full makeup. But during the Ramadan when I have a lot of time putting make up on I use this everyday and I love it. It really does the magic in removing make up. If you are looking for a make up remover try this one. I bought it from Boots but you can find it mostly on a drugstore or pharmacy around UAE.

2. BIO OIL
My sister recommended this product to me. I'm kind looking for a body oil that doesn't leave a greasy feeling on your skin and she told me to try the Bio oil. I was a bit skeptical in buying this product because 1st it's still an oil and 2nd because it's a bit pricey. When I went to Boots during the start of August I decided to give it a shot since then I'd been using this everyday. I love my body butter and I still love them but this product also do the thing of hydrating your skin. I'm very lazy applying lotion in the morning so at night I really spend time hydrating my skin. So I use this Bio oil first after taking a shower then I let it absorb my skin and let say after 30 mins I apply my body butter and my skin in the morning was so soft. This will be included in my night skin care routine from now on.

3. BARE ESSENTIALS MATTE FOUNDATION BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 15
I bought this foundation last Eid just because I wanted to try it and I really love it. It's so easy to use and really hold up pretty well. Skipping a powder after foundation, who doesn't like that? I can say that it's a really nice summer foundation. If you're a person who doesn't like a liquid foundation during summer, you better try this. The finish is good, there's a lot of shades to choose from so it would be easy to find what matches you. I think this product is under rated I don't see a lot of  reviews about it and I don't know why but it is a really good foundation I have tried 2 products from Bare minerals and I love both of them. Now I'm really in the convince to try more Bare minerals product because I think they're great.

4. BOURJOIS COLOUR BOOST LIP CRAYON
I also purchased this product along with the Bio-oil and the Bioderma when I went to Boots. I pick up the shade called Peach on the Beach which is a nice peach color and Orange Punch which is just a normal Orange color. I haven't tried Bourjois lip products before I find it a bit expensive for a drugstore brand  specially when I compare it to Rimmel which by the way their lip products are great for a drugstore brand. So I tried it and I like it I use it everyday because it's very hydrating on your lips and slides on smoothly. Like I don't bother looking at the mirror applying it because it's just so natural looking it's like a tint with a gloss.

5. URBAN DECAY DE-SLICK OIL CONTROL MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY
I was using the All Nighter setting spray before and I notice that it doesn't work for my oily skin. I was eager to find something to control the oiliness on my T-zone. One day when I was watching Youtube I saw the De-slick used by Ingrid who is also known as missglamorazzi, I told myself i have to try it. So when I went to Sephora without any hesitations I bought this product and tested it. It's way better than the All Nighter, It controls the oiliness on my T zone but not for more than 8 hrs which is fine for me because all I need to do is blot it and it's back to normal. I can't leave the house without using this because the humidity will absolutely melt everything I have on my face.

For my Non Beauty favorites

1. NIKE FUEL BAND
I was really trying to be healthy this past few month and by being healthy means I'm trying to eat less carbs than normal, eating veggies (which thinking about it makes me sick), eating more fruits and working out more. I workout most of the time when I'm not feeling lazy but But since i have a goal of loosing a stone I had been working out more. I had been counting calories I burned in a day and to be able to do that and be motivated to burn more I bought a Nike Fuel Band which monitors your calories and the reach or even exceed your goals. My goal for now is reaching 2000 fuel a day and burning 700+ calories a day. Some days I actually burn a thousand and reach fuel up to 3900. There were also days when you're feeling lazy and all you wanted to do is lie on the bed and once you saw that it's 1pm and your goal was just 100, you will really be motivated to move around and do something.

2. Kindle
I love reading books so much because it brings me to a different world and it feels like a stress reliever for me specially at the end of the day. But this past few months I'd been using ibooks most of the time what I noticed is that my eyes are reacting to the brightness of it specially at night. Even though I adjust the brightness or switch it to night I still feel uncomfortable reading and usually I just stop because I'm starting to get dizzy. During daytime i don't have any problem with it. So I switch back to my Kindle and I just enjoy reading more. All though Kindle released a Paper white and Fire, I think the Kindle with the E ink pearl was the best for your eyes.

So that's the things I had been loving for the past month. I hope you enjoy it and if you wanted to try something from the products I mentioned go for it and lemme know if it works for you.
